Teaching tips that actually tally.
The Accounting Educator is an AI-assisted weekly online magazine for university accounting lecturers. Each issue scans research in accounting education, higher education and medical education, plus professional bodies such as IFAC and AICPA, and turns a few genuinely useful findings into short, friendly reads.
What you get in every article
- A 2-minute read in plain language
- An evidence-strength badge and a clear split between What they found and Our take
- A "Try this in class next week" box with time, class-size and level labels
- A source card with the full citation, link and what we read (full text or abstract)
Editorial standards
We only report what the sources actually say. Where we've read only an abstract, the badge and source card say so, and our own suggestions are labelled as ours. We don't publish invented quotes, testimonials, people or photos. Charts use only numbers reported in the source. Articles are written with AI assistance and checked against the source by an evidence review before publication. Each issue aims for a mix of sources: at least one synthesis or meta-analysis, one professional-body piece, one higher-education or learning-science piece and two accounting-education pieces. Issue 01, our launch issue, doesn't meet that mix yet: it leans on single studies. Please consult the original sources before citing them.
Who writes it
Articles are signed by The Editorial Desk, an AI-assisted editorial team. Illustrations are original vector artwork made with AI assistance; we don't use photos of real or invented people.
Issue 01 is the launch issue, prepared October 2026.
